Soul Surfing.

In case my title hasn't given it away already tonight I saw the new movie Soul Surfer!
I have heard her story before, but i never really thought to much about it... About a week or so ago I was driving home from work and Bethany and her mom were on the radio sharing their story, that's when it really hit me, she was so strong and yet so dependent on God from the beginning.
Did you know that the two weeks before her accident she and her mom prayed every day for God's will to come out of her passion for waves..
I can honestly say I don't think I would feel that was exactly an answer to prayers, but Bethany did and through her faith in Him she was back out in the water 3 weeks later! Now look at what an impact she's had on people all over the word she's "embracing more people with one arm than she ever could with two.."
Her story is an incredible reminder that God works through the hardest times to bring about the greatest good.

"God is our refuge and strength, our ever present help in times of trouble." - Psalm 46:1

He promises to be there for us always..
As Easter is ... well today! and was the beginning of new life for all I feel like this is a good time to remember to be thankful even when there seems to be nothing to be thankful for.. and if you haven't been able to in the past, remember to change your perspective and smile because you will never be given more than you can handle and because when you are lost or hurting those are the times that will define who you are. those are the moments that make you. I know I find my self asking "why?" what did I do to deserver this I'm still working on truly embracing those moments when you wish you could just run and hide ... When life just doesn't seem fair. As of today I am trying something new, I am going to be thankful for the hard times because it means God is paying attention and is teaching me something new!
I know it won't always be easy but...
"I don't need easy, I just need possible..
and through Him all things are possible."

Ciao Bella.
